Spark is a nutritional supplement packed with vitamins and amino acids designed to boost your metabolism. It will give you long-lasting energy and sharpen your mental focus. With Spark you can drink your way to health. All you have to do is drink two bottles a day – one mid-morning and one mid-afternoon.

Before I discovered Spark, I was excited to turn 50. I didn’t care who I told. Everyone knew my age. I thought fifty was fabulous. But when I turned 51, I felt like I hit a wall. I was tied and listless. And parties? Forget about it.

Then I began to get comments, “Are you still working?” “You look pretty good for a woman of your age!” or my personal favorite, “If I live to be as old as you, I hope I can have grandchildren too!” It was time to take action.

I began to take my health more seriously and began the long, arduous task of losing weight. If you’ve ever been on a diet you know what I’m talking about. Once I began to cut my calories, my energy level decreased even more! So I increased my coffee intake and the mid-afternoon crashes nearly undid me. Spark_Box

At this point I began to despair of ever losing weight like I used to and the three letter O word began to flitter through my mind. Thankfully, my daughter introduced me to Spark. It made such a difference for me. I felt my energy being restored, I stared going to parties again and I didn’t poop out! I even threw a couple of parties.

Suddenly I didn’t feel old anymore. I got my life back! I began to focus and lose weight. Thanks to Spark, I’ve lost over 35 pounds! I’m happy to report that I now weigh less than my driver’s license states! I’m so happy I found Spark when I did.

Every Breath I Take

Nothing makes me appreciate my health more than being sick. In our home we don’t do things half-way, including getting sick. When illness strikes, we are completely shut down. This round my husband had full-blown pneumonia and I was following closely behind. Then I coughed up something so nasty I could’ve sworn it flipped me off before swirling down the drain. Until this week, I took breathing for granted.

We’ve seen our doctor more than family these last few weeks. However, I believe we made our final trek today. Much as we love our doctor, four visits in two weeks makes me question the status of our relationship.

While we’re not quite well, I’m thankful the worse is over. After our bi-weekly visit with Doc, I put away most of the sick paraphernalia. I hope we won’t need the nebulizer for at least a few more years. I’ll put it in the very back of the storage room just to be sure.Gratefull

Today I’m dressed and on my way to recovery. I’m breathing in hope and I’m filled with gratitude for something I’ve taken for granted – breathing. I know I will likely fall into complacency again and forget to thank God for the basics. But for now, in this moment I am filled with gratitude for every breath I take.

Reflection: Take a moment to consider what you are taking for granted. Appreciate what God has given you, even something as basic as breathing. You never know what you have until it is taken away.

Meditation: “…For it is He Himself who gives life and breath and all things to all people.” Acts 17:25b
