It’s All About the Blackberry

My BIL and brother recently purchased Blackberries.
I’ve had mine for a while but didn’t know all the ins and outs.
So we eagerly showed each other things we’ve learned
and demonstrated our favorite features.
These really should come with instruction manuals!
I now have a beautiful sunset screen saver
And I’m excited to use the calendar!
Just about the time I learn all the features,
it will become obsolete and I’ll have to get a newer version.

  1. These gadgets can really be useful and fun to use. However, when they’re spoilt. The only way to repair them is having them sent back to Sweden which is a headache.Have some exploring your blackberry! :)You can blog from it too! 🙂

  2. Cool as they are, I can’t to the Blackberry thing. When I used yours last week to try to call John, I could never push less than 2-3 buttons! If you have big finger tips, they are impossible to use. I want an iPhone someday when I’m a rich and famous author… or maybe someone will end the discrimination against big-finger padded people and make smart phone we can use :)that’d make a funny blog satire…

  3. I gotta say……you look pretty cute there in your pink sweater doing your blackberry! The big question is, can you blog on it???? Good for you for keeping up, I don’t even text!Hugs, Sharon

  4. Well I am going to get the Blackberry Storm when it comes out with Verizon..and it’s now a real word in the dictionary..CRACKberrylove ityou are so savvy

  5. And to think that I might be getting to help people on the phone with their Blackberries. :)I agree with Sharon, you look cute in your pink sweater.

  6. Cute. I’d love one someday but can’t justify paying more for cell phone service right now to have access to all the features. Enjoy! And again, thank you for your visits and comments.

  7. Hmmmm…..Blackberry, Huh? I don’t even own a cell phone. So sad, but true. I may get one…..eventually. 🙂 Thanks for sharing. Have a nice one.

  8. Jan, my dear, those things DO come with instruction manuals. I let DH read them, and then I ask questions and he shows me (hands on the phone) how to do what I need. I think your little Pow-Wow was an excellent idea.

  9. What fun with all the Blackberries. I wonder why they call them Blackberries????I have a hard time even texting on my cell phone – to get the numbers and spaces right etc. Smiles.

  10. Blackberries are very cool. My son and my husband got them together and started learning all the features. Unfortunately, my DH lost his in Hawaii, the evening of our daughter’s wedding. I chalk it up to a father’s jangled nerves. My DH kicked himself for weeks afterward, and we searched everywhere for it. It was never found. :~D

  11. eMom – how terrible for your DH. I had a dream that my Blackberry was lost and I hadn’t backed all the information up. I guess I should do that now. 🙂

  12. SweetAnn – I’d like to get the Storm also but I have a few months left on my contract and I refuse to buy out just to have a newer version. I bet I’ll have to learn all sorts of new things too. LOL. Trying not to be an old fart and almost succeeding…

  13. Sharon – can't blog on it b/c my provider is AT&T. Apparently, a less desirable company or something. I should check again. Maybe they've changed that.
