Colrado Springs Sunset – WW

Unfortunately, all I had was my cell phone. Believe me, these pictures don’t do it justice. The sunset was preceded by an incredible rainbow. I wish I had my camera with me. Notice how the clouds hover on the mountains peaks?

  1. Thank you Jan, for your nice comment about my mom date with Harrison. I was kind of wondering how that one would go over. I forgot about Wordless Wednesday. I should come over and participate, once things calm down around here. We are soooooooo busy with harvest. Your sunsets are so pretty even with the cell phone. Boy, I remember those beautiful Colorado sunsets. Thanks, Kathi

  2. Wonderful pictures!!! Thanks again for stopping by the divadom, I appreciate your comments and hope to see you again soon!(Have you traded up?)

  3. What gorgeous pictures Jan! Just beautiful. Thank you for your wise words about my son moving, it is hard and I just have to give it all to the Lord and trust Him. It helps knowing others have gone through it and that others are praying. God is amazing!I just noticed your profile comment, did you change that recently? I did not know that you are an incest and rape survivor. I am so sorry to hear that you went through those things. Jan, you are amazing that you are so open and that you have chosen to be such an advocate for women and you have shown that God can help you and give you so much strength. God bless you my friend!Hugs, Sharon

  4. The only thing that can compete with mountain sunrise/sunsets are ocean sunrise/sunsets. And for the same reason. There’s a vastness about those scenes that makes everything — including that problem you’ve been worrying yourself to death over — seem very small by comparison.nice work!Happy WW and thanks for stopping by!

  5. Whenever you post pictures of the area where you live, I am always in awe of the beauty. Don’t get me wrong, I love the midwest, but it is very, very flat. 😉

  6. I think you did a great job with the sunset, especially with a cell phone camera. Thanks for visiting mine. I have no idea what that squirrel had. It looked too big for a nut.

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. - Psalm 34:19
