And Then There Were 3

The Fav-five-Sharen, Heather, Megan, Jan and Tonya – Aug 2007

Two months ago when Sharen moved, we knew things would never be the same. Her move was the first of many transitions for the five of us. Change is never easy, even good changes. When God put the Fav-five together, we knew it was only for a season. We bonded instantly and it became obvious that God placed us all together.

Now Heather has also moved away. We are so proud of her for making this bold move and stepping out in faith. God has called her to move to Colorado Springs and seek a position in the publishing industry. Please pray that the right job will open up for Heather soon. Thankfully, she is only an hour a way so we can still get together, albiet not as frequently.

Tonya, is also planning on moving. She’s in the process of preparing her home for sale or lease option. If you’re interested in a home in central Aurora, please contact her here. They plan to settle further North – about an hour and half driving distance from here.

Yes, soon there will be two. Thankfully, Megan lives near by and is not making any plans to move. I love that we can meet for coffee right here in Parker. Believe me, I don’t take that for granted and I love that she clears time in her busy schedule to have with coffee me.

Wherever God leads these blessed women, I will treasure the laughter, the hours spent in prayer and the love we share. For our hearts are forever knit together, woven by a master designer.

  1. Thankfully we are in the age of internet and unlimited long distance. That makes it easier to keep in touch with those who move away. 🙂

  2. Oh, and BTW — you’re stuck with me. Okay? Now that we won’t be the Fav Five we’ll have to come up with a new name for the two of us. Work on that, okay? And I will too.~M

  3. Notice that the photographer is the only one without a professional photograph. Hmmm. Something is wrong with that. I’m just saying…

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. - Psalm 34:19
